Peggy Heim

Studio Director

As a Studio Director, Peggy provides management leadership in the design of StoryBuilt’s Seattle projects. Her practice in architecture creates sustainable urban communities through long-lasting, high-quality buildings with a special interest in integrated and passive house design. Peggy has worked on a variety of project types during her career with a focus on multi-family housing. She is an effective and conscientious project manager and enjoys the collaborative process between all members of the project team. 

Peggy is a licensed architect in the State of Washington and a Certified Passive House Designer through the Passive House Institute in Germany. She has a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Minnesota. She recently served on both the AIA Seattle Board and the AIA Washington Council in the advocacy director role. In her spare time, Peggy likes to be in the outdoors hiking, biking, skiing, and camping with her husband and two-year-old son.
