Chief Design Officer

Mike joined StoryBuilt in 2011 to develop and lead the newly created design and planning group as part of an initiative to move the architectural development of StoryBuilt Homes in house. His primary role is to establish and carry through the design vision of all communities, while overseeing project collaboration among various departments.

He currently holds architectural licenses in Colorado, Texas, and Washington (StoryBuilt core markets) and additionally in Illinois. After receiving his Master in Architecture in 2003, Mike lived in Chicago for eight years, managing the architecture of a variety of projects, including high-rise residential towers at the Lakeshore East development, high-end townhouses in New York City, public libraries and school restorations.

Mike holds a Masters in Architecture from Harvard University and Bachelors in Design from Arizona State University.
