This small single-family community just north of downtown Austin carefully inserts itself into the existing 1960’s and ‘70’s residential fabric. Wanting to make the street the primary community experience, we focused on large front porches where neighbors could gather while kids practiced riding bikes. The homes are quiet clapboard gable structures, with muted colors and emphasis on the beautiful wood front porches.
