Kristen Padavic, AIA

Senior Vice-President, Design

As Senior Vice President of Design, Kristen leads the design of all StoryBuilt communities as well as the management of the architecture team. She moved to Austin in 2011 to help create StoryBuilt’s design team, which has grown to over 30 architects, design professionals, and engineers. Kristen guides the architecture team in collaborating with all StoryBuilt multi-disciplinary teams to develop the project stories, land plans, and all building concepts and designs. Prior to joining StoryBuilt, she worked for both Brininstool + Lynch and later Solomon Cordwell Buenz in Chicago, working on a variety of building types, from high-rise residential, commercial and retail centers, to custom homes and boutique interiors projects. 

Kristen graduated with her Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan Taubman School of Architecture in 1998 and received her Master in Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design in 2003.
